Poignant memoir how one family raises their autistic seven year old son, bakes gluten-dairy free, almost loses their house-goes broke, loses a dog-gains two more and somehow keeps their sense of humor, minds and marriage thriving. Noah is the main source of inspiration for this blog, and how his Autism affects us and those around us. Children on the autism spectrum have much to teach the rest of us "typicals" regardless of whether we have or don't have children. Life is a rich tapestry of beauty and poop.

About Me

Christina Dagnelli: Christina is a freelance non-fiction writer and has been writing for over 20 years. She has published over 300 articles about health, nutrition, parenting and current events. She writes for CBS Philly, Livestrong.com and is the Autism-Parenting Examiner for the NJ area on Examiner.com among other publications. Christina's debut memoir Little Squares with Colors: A Different way to Look at Autism is based on her experiences with her son who has autism. She continues his journey in this blog. Besides her interest in health and wellness, Christina also enjoys writing recap and analysis about the Television show Lost, commentary and comedy articles. Though writing travel articles would probably be the dream job- or doing PR for either Disney, Busch Gardens or Whole Foods Market. Since she loves them all so much, it just makes sense. Christina has been a dancer, singer, actor, dog-trainer, therapist, nutritionist, yoga student, Logistics Expert and cook. She is horrible at sewing, sitting still, and handling a lot of noise.
